Built in the 1990s, the Kentlands provided a blueprint
for high density, mixed-use residential developments
in our area. Compared to traditional suburban
neighborhoods, individual home lots are smaller with
a greater emphasis on shared common areas. With onsite
retail and commercial centers, residents are encouraged
to walk - rather than drive - in their community.
An abundance of front porches, well-appointed community
centers and extensive green space encourage residents
to venture out and become better integrated into their
community.

| Although each community has its unique personality,
Lakelands, King Farm and Fallsgrove share the same
basic planning tenants. Lakelands is adjacent
to Kentlands and shares a central retail center. Homes
here were built from 1999 to 2003. Mostly built
from 1999 to 2004, King Farm is a neo-traditional
community founded in 1997 conveniently located adjacent
to the Shady Grove Metro stop. Built from 2002
to 2004, Fallsgrove is the newest mixed-use residential
