in the late 1980s as a separate postal area, North Potomac
is generally considered to be the area South and West of
Route 28 outside the City of Gaithersburg. Potomac
and Rockville border North Potomac to the South and East.
Darnestown borders North Potomac to the West along Jones
Lane.
